About This Service
Apply for a new Aadhaar card for Indian residents. Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number issued by UIDAI and is mandatory for most government services.
Eligibility
Any resident of India (including infants and children) can apply for an Aadhaar card.
Documents Required
- 1Proof of Identity (POI): Passport / PAN Card / Ration Card / Voter ID
- 2Proof of Address (POA): Utility Bill / Bank Statement / Rent Agreement
- 3Date of Birth Proof: Birth Certificate / SSLC Marksheet / Passport
- 4Recent Passport-size Photograph
Step-by-Step Process
Visit our centre with original identity and address proofs
Fill the Aadhaar Enrolment Form (Form 5 for Adults, Form 6 for Kids)
Capturing biometric data (fingerprints, iris scan) and facial photograph
Collection of acknowledgment slip with 14-digit Enrolment ID (EID)
Verification by UIDAI and delivery by India Post (usually within 60-90 days)
Important Notes
Biometrics for children under 5 are not taken; they need to provide Biometric updates at age 5 and 15.
